19 Ekim 2026 tarihinde Özbekistan Cumhuriyeti Cumhurbaşkanı Sayın Şavkat Mirziyoyev, C5+1 formatı çerçevesinde Orta Asya ülkeleri ve Amerika Birleşik Devletleri Dışişleri Bakanları Toplantısı’na katılmak üzere Semerkant’ı ziyaret eden Tacikistan Cumhuriyeti Dışişleri Bakanı Sirojiddin Muhriddin’i kabul etti.

Görüşmenin başında Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Tacikistan Cumhuriyeti Cumhurbaşkanı Sayın Emomali Rahmon’un Özbekistan Cumhurbaşkanına olan sıcak selamlarını ve en iyi dileklerini iletti.

Toplantıda, Tacikistan-Özbekistan ilişkilerinin daha da geliştirilmesiyle ilgili temel konuların yanı sıra iki ülke arasındaki stratejik ortaklığın ve müttefik ilişkilerin güçlendirilmesine yönelik перспектиfler ele alındı.

Her iki taraf da ticaret ve ekonomi, kültür ve insani yardım ile karşılıklı ilgi alanlarına giren diğer alanlarda ikili işbirliğini istikrarlı bir şekilde genişletmenin öneminin altını çizdi.

18 Ekim 2026 tarihinde, Irak Cumhuriyeti’nin Bağdat şehrinde, Tacikistan Cumhuriyeti Dışişleri Bakan Yardımcısı İdibek Kalandar başkanlığındaki Tacikistan Cumhuriyeti resmi heyeti, İslam İşbirliği Teşkilatı (İİT) Üye Devletleri Dışişleri Bakanları Konseyi’nin 52. Oturumuna katıldı.

İdibek Kalandar oturumda bir konuşma yaptı, Tacikistan’ın oturum gündemindeki kilit konulara ilişkin tutumunu sundu ve İslam İşbirliği Teşkilatı üye devletlerini, Tacikistan’ın su, çevre ve gelecek nesiller için barışı güçlendirme alanlarındaki uluslararası girişimlerinin ortak uygulanmasında işbirliği yapmaya çağırdı.

On 18 October 2026, in Baghdad, Republic of Iraq, the official delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan, headed by Idibek Kalandar, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, participated in the 52nd Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Idibek Kalandar gave a speech at the session, presented Tajikistan’s position on the key issues on the session’s agenda and called on OIC member states to cooperate in the joint implementation of Tajikistan’s international initiatives in the fields of water, the environment, and strengthening peace for future generations.

On October 17, 2026, in Baghdad on the sidelines of the 52nd Session of the Council of Foreign Minister of the OIC Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Idibek Kalandar met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman for Political Affairs Sheikh Khalifa Al-Harithi.

On October 19, 2026, a regular meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Central Asian countries and the US Secretary of State in the 5+1 format was held in Samarkand. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjiddin Muhriddin attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

During the meeting, a wide range of issues related to strengthening regional cooperation and expanding partnership between the Central Asian countries and the United States were discussed.

The parties also discussed pressing issues of regional security and enhanced coordination of efforts to combat modern threats and challenges. In this context, the importance of continuing the political dialogue and developing multilateral cooperation in the C5+1 format was emphasized.

On 15 October 2026, on the sidelines of the 7th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), a meeting was held in Baku between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka Vijitha Herath.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on current issues and perspective areas for further development of bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, as well as on strengthening cooperation within international and regional organizations.
