On November 18, 2024, the Annual Meeting of the Steering Committee of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) program for Central Asia for 2022-2025 was held in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan.

Representatives of relevant ministries and departments of Central Asian states and donor countries of the UNODC program attended the event. On June 3, 2024, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the Regional Representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Central Asia Ms. Ashita Mittal.

During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues within the framework of UNODC, in particular the progress of the implementation of projects under the UNODC Program for Central Asia for 2022-2025.

Expressing satisfaction with the current level of cooperation between Tajikistan and UNODC, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan thanked A. Mittal for her efforts as the UNODC Regional Representative in Central Asia and wished her success in her future endeavors.

3 Haziran 2024 tarihinde Tacikistan Dışişleri Bakanı Sayın Sirojiddin Muhriddin ile Birleşmiş Milletler Uyuşturucu ve Suç Ofisi (UNODC) Orta Asya Bölge Temsilcisi Sayın Ashita Mittal arasında bir toplantı gerçekleştirildi.

Toplantıda taraflar, UNODC çerçevesindeki kilit konuları, özellikle de 2022-2025 için UNODC Orta Asya Programı kapsamındaki projelerin uygulanmasındaki ilerlemeyi tartıştı.

Tacikistan ile UNODC arasındaki işbirliğinin mevcut seviyesinden duyduğu memnuniyeti dile getiren Tacikistan Dışişleri Bakanı, UNODC Orta Asya Bölge Temsilcisi olarak gösterdiği çabalardan dolayı A. Mittal’e teşekkür etti ve gelecekteki çalışmalarında başarılar diledi.
