On 22 March 2023, in New York on the margins of the United Nations 2023 Water Conference the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Netherlands Liesje Schreinemacher.

At the meeting, the parties discussed issues of further cooperation in various areas, including trade, water management and meteorology.
