We have learned with deep sorrow that many people lost their lives this morning (15 January) as a result of the plane crash in Nepal.

We extend our condolences to the relatives of those who lost their lives in this tragic accident as well as to the friendly people and Government of Nepal and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.

We are deeply saddened to learn that a military helicopter, which was engaged in flood relief work in the Balochistan province in Pakistan has crashed and caused the martyrdom of six military officers on board.

We wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives and convey our condolences to the friendly and brotherly Government and people of Pakistan.
