On March 16, 2024, at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Turkmenistan, a meeting was held with foreign compatriots living in the city of Ashgabat.

During the meeting, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Turkmenistan Niyatbekzoda Vafo gave explanations regarding the instructions and orders of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Emomali Rahmon, which were given during a meeting with activists, representatives of society and religious figures of the Republic of Tajikistan on March 9, 2024.

On December 11, 2023, an International Exhibition was held in Ashgabat on the sidelines of the International Forum “Dialogue-Guarantee of Peace”.

The exhibition featured works by the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon, information and promotional materials in the field of tourism and investment, books on the history and civilization of the ancient Tajik people, samples of national clothing, ceramics, musical instruments, photographs and illustrations of charming places reflecting the positive image of Tajikistan, as well as a variety of traditional sweets and pastries were presented to numerous foreign guests.

At the same time, the participants of the event got acquainted with folk crafts, including handicrafts, embroidery, pottery, etc., and highly appreciated the corner of Tajikistan.

Participation in the meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries

On 11 December 2022 in Ashgabat the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseinzoda participated and addressed the 12th meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries.

During his statement the Deputy Minister expressed his views on the importance of joint fight against modern threats and challenges, including terrorism and extremism, drug trafficking, organized crime and climate change problems.

Deputy Minister Huseizoda briefed the participants on the efforts of the Government of Tajikistan to strengthen dialogue, especially within the framework of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA), in order to find effective ways to counter the above threats.

At the same time, the attention of the participants was drawn to the “Dushanbe Process on countering terrorism”, as well as high-level international events organized within the framework of this process.
